A Tribute To The King of Basketball – “RESPECT THE LEGEND OF 23” Exhibition
In addition to the 230 pairs of AIR JORDANs, 4 artists and basketball lovers from Taiwan and Hong Kong including ex-Nike league player Shawn Yue, Blackie, Wu Chun and ex-Nike league player Chau Pak Ho were invited to pay their tribute to Jordan in a rare photo shoot together with 4 members of Hong Kong national basketball team – Lee Kiu Fung, Li Kim Wong, Lo Yin Ting and Poon Chi Ho. From now until 2nd March, the “RESPECT THE LEGEND OF 23” exhibition will be held for 10 days at Nike Silvercord flagship store.

為了在這意義非凡的日子向球壇經典米高佐敦致敬，Nike Hong Kong更分別為多位港台紅人，包括籃球狂熱及前Nike League成員余文樂、陳建州(黑人)、吳尊，與及同樣是前Nike League成員的周柏豪，連同四位香港籃球精英，香港籃球代表隊的成員李翹峰、李劍煌、羅意庭及潘志豪，拍攝一輯以「Respect the Legend of 23」為題的照片。參觀者不但能重溫米高佐敦的輝煌歷程，更可藉此機會讓經典傳奇銘刻於心。米高佐敦－我們永恆的籃球英雄！

All hail the number 23. To basketball fans worldwide, 23 represents ultimate finesse and ferocity on the basketball court. Instantly recognizable, forever associated with scoring titles and championships, 23 synonymously refers to the king of the air, Michael Jordan.

Entering AIR JORDAN’s 23rd year, Nike hosted the “RESPECT THE LEGEND OF 23” exhibition and party today at Silvercord flagship store. Celebrating 23 years of incredible design and limited editions of Nike’s Jordan brand of shoes, sneaker heads gathered in a state of euphoria eyeing the priceless collection. Inspired by the greatest basketball player of all time, the exhibition illustrated the man, the influence and the global legacy of Michael Jordan. As a clutch performer, athlete and competitor, Michael Jordan has inspired a global following of fans through his accomplishments on and off the court.

23，一個籃球世界裏象徵榮耀和光輝的數字，一個全世界球迷為之瘋狂而又鐫刻於心的數字，一個無數球員夢寐以求被賜予的球衣號碼，一個讓許多人從孩童時代到為人父母共同經歷的傳奇…… 是的，他就是米高佐敦(Michael Jordan)！一個擁有耀眼光環卻又似乎是鄰家大哥般熟悉的籃球英雄，稱他為英雄一點也不為過，他所成就的歷史堪稱一個時代，讓全世界懂籃球和不懂籃球的，喜歡籃球和不喜歡籃球的人都能銘記的一個時代——是佐敦和他的「23」的時代！

同樣是籃球發燒友、前Nike League成員余文樂及周柏豪均表示自己是米高佐敦的忠實球迷，從剛開始接觸籃球，便渴望穿著AIR JORDAN的球鞋，如佐敦般在籃球場上發光發亮。余文樂表示：「 AIR JORDAN球鞋就像米高佐敦的不朽傳奇一樣，希望一直延續下去，經歷無數個23載。」

曾為台灣職業籃球運動員、近年積極推廣籃球運動的黑人表示：「今次十分榮幸可以獲邀到香港出席佐敦品牌的慶祝活動，不但令我有機會重溫各款在我籃球生涯中不可或缺的AIR JORDAN球鞋，更可以與眾多香港的籃球精英會面，感覺非常興奮。對我來說，米高佐敦不但是我們的籃球英雄，也是籃球愛好者共同擁有的回憶。」

踏入AIR JORDAN系列創立23周年(23為Jordan球衣的號碼)，也是AIR JORDAN XX3 Son Of Mars在香港正式面世的日子，Nike Hong Kong特於今晚(2月22日)假新港中心旗艦店內，為AIR JORDAN系列舉行「Respect the Legend of 23」慶祝活動，更廣邀中港台三地AIR JORDAN愛好者、籃球精英、球鞋迷及一眾城中名人潮人包括：薛凱琪、張繼聰、Michael Lau及更多，一起見證重要時刻，展開對AIR JORDAN的集體回憶。

The AIR JORDAN Chronicles: 230 Pairs Displayed
Remember Jordan’s amazing 1988 slam-dunk? Or his famous “The Shot” play from the 1998 playoff game, Chicago versus Cleveland? Jordan’s moments of basketball excellence was chronicled through a supreme collection of AIR JORDANs. Highly regarded for its distinctive craftsmanship and innovative design, the exhibition showcased not only a full series of the AJ collection from AJI to the latest AJXX3, but also a total of 230 pairs of original, retro and different colorway AIR JORDANs collected from dedicated fans all over the world.

Among the 230 pairs were the famous black and red AJI Original, the AJII Original (the only pair made Italy), the AJV Original and AJXIX Original personally autographed by Michael Jordan and the never released AJXI worn by Jordan in the popular 1996 film Space Jam. Customized releases for players under Team Jordan included the AJII Retro autographed by Carmelo Anthony of the Denver Nuggets, the AJVI Retro created for Boston Celtic’s all-star guard Ray Allen, and the AJXVI Original custom made for Atlanta Hawks’ guard Mike Bibby. Guest were also able to preview the super limited edition AJXX3 “Son of Mars” before its official launch date. Designed with a unique MJ’s signature in a stitch pattern, the AJXX3 was only available in 46 stores – 23 stores in the US and 23 stores worldwide and each store only had 23 pairs to spare for lucky sneaker collectors and fans.

由即日起至3月2日，Nike將於新港中心旗艦店舉行為期10日的「Respect the Legend of 23」展覽。展出AIR JORDAN 系列的第一代至最新款的XX3代包括原版複刻各種不同顏色及別注共230款，讓在場朋友一起回顧AJ系列的傳奇歷程，細味球鞋中蘊含的創意設計及精湛技術，親身感受AJ球鞋的超凡魅力。
