KIKS TYO Presents: Sneaker Lover DVD Featuring Aki Hoshino Shot by Yasumasa Yonehara

Sneaker Lover, a project conceived and directed by KIKS TYO creative director Shinichi Izaki (aka hobby:tech) and released by Goma Books, marks the first collaborative professional effort between its subject, Aki Hoshino and it’s photographer, Yasumasa Yonehara.

The release of this special-edition, collectable, idol DVD follows the release of the best selling Sneaker Lover photo book and features Aki Hoshino filmed by Yone.

By deftly blurring the lines between the worlds of Japanese gravure, urban erotica, street fashion and the sneaker fanaticism shared by fans of KIKS TYO, Aki Hoshino and Yonehara alike, the must have collection both draws from and gives new meaning to its title Sneaker Lover.

KIKS TYO, Aki Hoshino and ledgendary Tokyo-based photographer Yasumasa Yonehara (aka Yone) have collaborated on series of six limited edition “Sneaker Lover” photo print t-shirts that complement and celebrate the release of the best-selling Aki Hoshino “Sneaker Lover” photo book and DVD. This “With Sneakers” tee is from the third series of “Sneaker Lover” collaborations and is one of two available now.

*This tee is a pre-order item. Pre-order period is APRIL 11th - APRIL 21st, 2008 or while supplies last.

These are the latest drop from Reebok to commemorate the victory of Dee Brown in NBA Slam Dunk Contest with a “no-look” slam dunk occurred in 1991. Moreover he posted his best scoring numbers for Boston in during the 1993-94 seasons, averaging more than 15 points per game each of the year.

These Pump Omni Lite and Pump D-Time are limited to 1991 pairs and 1993 pairs worldwide. The “no-look” slam dunk man was featured on the insole.
