Kix-Files Online Shop is hosting pre-orders on two upcoming Nike Dunk SBs which scheduled to release in May.
The first one is inspired by a Dutch painter, Piet Mondrian, an important contributor to the De Stijl art movement and group. De Stijl (also known as Neo-Plasticism) consisted of a grid of vertical and horizontal black lines and the use of the three primary colors. The shoe features white canvas on the upper, black suede joints and textured three primary colors on toe cap, panel at the back and heel. Simple but impressive. This is a quickstrike model that out of the Nike SB Summer 08 catalog.
The second one is inspired by 720 Degrees, or 720°, which is a 1986 arcade skateboarding game by Atari Games. It is notable in that it is the first extreme sports video game, and has a unique timed structure that requires the player score points in order to keep the game going. It reminds us the Skate or Die SB dropped a while back, which also came with a video game inspiration.
